Oil may have travelled from a failed seal across a machine base and onto the surrounding floor, while controls above it must stay dry. The survey treats those as separate surfaces and keeps the active leak as a maintenance issue.
Trace contamination across the machine and surrounding floor
The enclosure, base, floor and nearby service points are listed separately because each may need a different product or recovery method. Maintenance confirms which sections it will release and which components require covering. Our machinery and equipment cleaning service explains the wider plant process.
Machine limits, isolation and hidden build-up
Name the person isolating the equipment and the guards or panels site personnel will remove.
Mark components that must remain dry, lubricated or untouched and the maintenance contact who will review the cleaned plant.
During the survey, the maintenance contact traces where grime has crossed from equipment onto guards, bases and the floor. Separate lines in the quotation prevent a machine clean and floor treatment being mistaken for one task.
Sensitive components and adjacent processes are covered or excluded before release. The contractor follows the order agreed with maintenance and keeps loosened residue away from protected items and accepted areas.
Leaks, damaged finishes and inaccessible pockets are shown to the maintenance contact and kept separate from the cleaning acceptance record.
If an active leak is feeding the contamination, cleaning will only reset the area temporarily. We make that distinction clear. Tell us which machine area needs attention and we will arrange the right people for the site visit.
Maintenance review of the cleaned machine
Before guards return, maintenance checks that controls and sensors stayed dry, lubrication points remain open and any leak exposed by cleaning is recorded for repair. The contractor records cleaned surfaces and exceptions; technical readiness remains with the site. For a multi-machine job, see machinery and equipment cleaning.
Add industrial floor cleaning when contamination has spread beyond the machine boundary.
